Description

This class is supported with products from our sister brand Winsor & Newton.

What you will get from taking this workshop:

  • Textural images that look good enough to eat
  • An overview of how to use digital editing to turn experiments into final artwork
  • Elephant Academy Technique Takeaway: An understanding of how to create bold and stylish compositions using your own food illustrations

Create expressive and playful illustrations in this tasty illustration workshop. Using a mix of materials, including gouache, ink, coloured pencils and crayons, you will test different ways of drawing your favourite ingredients and recipes. You will get messy and do lots of experimenting across the different mediums, and in the final stages of the workshop, Lucia will demonstrate how you can take these lively drawings and turn them into stylish compositions using Photoshop for inclusion in materials such as recipe books, menus and prints.
